Celebrate Small Business Saturday in Carlsbad Village

Carlsbad Village is gearing up for Small Business Saturday on November 29, 2025, a day dedicated to celebrating and supporting the local businesses that give our community its unique charm.

 

Organized by the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA), the event promises a festive atmosphere with live music, special promotions, and exciting giveaways. Starting at 11:00 AM, visitors can stop by the CVA booth at the corner of Grand Avenue and State Street to pick up a complimentary canvas tote bag (available to the first 100 visitors) and enter the Gift Card Giveaway Tree drawing, featuring over $2,000 in prizes from local restaurants and retailers.

 

Adding to the fun, a Village Scavenger Hunt will lead participants to hidden treasures throughout downtown, including custom pint glasses crafted by Barrio Glassworks. Clues will be provided to guide you to these unique finds, and successful hunters can enjoy special rewards from Pure Project Carlsbad. Additionally, a selfie contest offers a chance to win a grand prize, including a stay at the beachfront Beach Terrace Inn.

 

Live holiday music will enhance the shopping experience, with performances by pianist Robert Parker and vocalist Marissa McRoberts throughout the day.

 

Participating in Small Business Saturday not only supports local entrepreneurs but also strengthens the community's economy.

According to the CVA, approximately 67 cents of every dollar spent at a small business remains in the community, making a significant impact on Carlsbad's economic health.
